From a mother's love to a global brand

As a mother of three, our founder, Shilpa Doshi, noticed her children Nitin, Prachi, and Maulik struggling to find time for daily prayer rituals. They valued their heritage but found the process of preparing diyas, finding cotton, making ghee, and managing the mess cumbersome and time-consuming.

Shilpa "Maa" 's moment came when she decided to stop feeling the ritual and start solving the problem. She created the Easy Diya, a ready-to-light ghee wick that offers a predictable burning time without the mess.

A middle school principal of 20 years of experience who left education to create Swaha. A serial entrepreneur, Shilpa Doshi is the driving force behind building a world-class Indian organisation, and is deeply committed to social and financial sustainability, ensuring Swaha grows with awareness, intentionality and shared family responsibility.

Co-Founder

Maulik brings a range of deep-rooted business finance in commerce and digital marketing, helping scale Swaha with a strong modern business conscience.
